Information You Submit
A third-party results provider receives the name, telephone number, or address entered in a search form. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. When you contact us, we receive the details in your message and use them to respond.
Information Collected Automatically
Standard hosting logs may contain an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. We review combined traffic data to maintain the service and understand page use. Basic analytics and advertising measurement may rely on cookies or similar tools.
What We Do With This Data
We use this limited data to operate the service, diagnose faults, measure traffic, and improve content. We neither sell lists of visitors nor create individual user profiles.
Links to Other Websites
We link out to county and state records portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. Their privacy policies, not ours, govern what you submit there. That is especially true of the sponsored search results, which a third-party company provides.
Who Might See Your Data
The service providers that host and support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data when a valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
How We Protect Your Data
The site runs over an encrypted connection and logs are kept only as long as the purposes above need them. There are no accounts here, so no password or profile of yours exists on this site to be exposed.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
Indiana's Consumer Data Protection Act, IC 24-15, may give eligible consumers rights to access, correct, delete, or opt out of specified uses of data held by covered private controllers. The law took effect January 1, 2026. Because we retain little data, a request generally means checking contact messages and available server logs. Use the Contact page to ask. Records held by Indiana, Hamilton County, or Fishers offices remain outside our control and must be addressed with their custodian.
Updates to This Policy
Any change to this policy will be posted on this page. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
